VINCENNES, Ind.—Preliminary reports are, either police on patrol found, or a call to the Vincennes police station sent police out to locate, a pipe bomb this morning at 5 a.m.
The bomb was reported to be by the retaining wall at the Kimmel Park entrance. Furthermore two buildings, the construction technology building and V.U. track field at the Vincennes University were closed and a road was blocked off while state police bomb squad was called in.
The pipe bomb has been reported now that it was disarmed at approximately 15 minutes after the bomb squad arrived and the bomb squad blew up the bomb at approximately 8:35 this morning.
The wall was not harmed and threat was taken care of.
