EDGAR CO.—The National Transportation Safety Bureau has released the name of the pilot who died in the single-plane crash yesterday morning (Tuesday, August 27, 2013).

small plane, crashThe pilot of the two-engine Cessna was Rusty Bogue, of Paris.

Bogue, of RSB Aviation at the Edgar County Airport, has been under fire for the past year by members of the Edgar County Airport Authority board, for no reason that anyone can ascertain yet.

In a recent incident, ECAA board member Adonna Bennett took all of Bogue’s and RSB’s plaques and honors off the walls at the airport, and stacked them on the floor in a fit of pique. When she was forced to put them all back up, she was heard to utter, “I’m not done with these people yet!”

What her hatred is for RSB is also unknown, but it’s become readily apparent.

The NTSB has been advised of the animosity of several Edgar County authorities toward RSB and the Bogues. Whether this is a focus of the investigation at this time remains unknown.

Recently RSB had installed cameras in their offices, facing out over the hangar. Whether those captured anything suspicious prior to yesterday’s flight remains unknown.
