MARION, Ill. - Besides the two women we featured this morning in this post, a third individual was sentenced in Williamson County Circuit Court Monday.

Williamson County State's Attorney Brandon Zanotti said that yesterday (March 11, 2019), Luke DeWitt, 25, of Marion, was sentenced to two years in DOC for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, a Class 4 felony.

DeWitt was charged with the offense following the execution of a search warrant on his residence in March 2017. During the search, Marion Police officers found over fifteen grams of cannabis and materials used for its sale.

DeWitt has prior convictions for burglary and criminal damage to government property.

“I would like to thank my staff and all law enforcement agencies involved for their help in securing these prison sentences," Zanotti said. "As always, a job well done by all in local law enforcement.”
