AUTOPSY RESULTS SHOW HARRISBURG WOMAN DIED OF HYPOTHERMIA

GALLATIN CO., Ill. - Gallatin County Coroner Tony Cox has released the results of the autopsy conducted today on the young woman who went missing earlier this week from Harrisburg, and whose body was found last night in Gallatin County after an intensive search.

Brooke S. Naylor, age 20 of Harrisburg, was found deceased March 8, 2019 on Poole Road in rural Gallatin County. Brooke had been missing since Sunday, March 3, 2019.

An autopsy was conducted today, March 9, 2019 and the results showed Ms. Naylor died of Hypothermia due to Environmental Exposure. 

Cox said that there is pending toxicology for final results and manner of death.

The death is under investigation of the Gallatin County Coroner's office, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and the Illinois State Police.
