MARION, Ill. - Another shooting has occurred in the city of Marion. Here's the press release about it.
On March 3, 2019 at approximately 10:00 AM, the Marion Police Department received a report of a shooting inside of a residence in the 1000 block of N. Otis Street.
Officers located a male victim inside the residence with a single gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for treatment. A suspect, identified as Dalton Wagner, 20 of Marion, was quickly located by officers at a nearby residence and was taken into custody without incident.
Wagner is currently being held at the Williamson County Jail awaiting formal charges. The Investigation into this incident is ongoing.
