PALESTINE, Ill. -Apparently people from all over the state want to come to Crawford County to get in trouble.

At least, that's what it looked like earlier today.

At approximately 4:15 p.m. today (January 15, 2019), Palestine Police Chief Jeff Besing received information of a male subject wanted on a felony warrant for Failure to Appear on an Armed Robbery and three counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer charge from a 2013 incident.

Chief Besing learned of the wanted subject's location and with the assistance of Crawford County Deputy Lucas Wallace, the wanted suspect was taken into custody without incident on CR 1710E.

The male subject was identified as Jason W. Reeves, 41, who had recently been residing in Palestine.

Chief Besing transported Reeves to the Crawford County Jail where he is being held without bond awaiting extradition to McLean County,
