SALINE CO., Ill. - What appears to have been a brazen robbery at rifle-point occurred yesterday (Sunday, January 6) at Hathaway's, a popular convenience store/gas station south of Pankeyville on 145/34 outside of Harrisburg.

We've not received any word on the physical description of the robber, other than the obvious: He was wearing the ever-popular crim gear (hoodie) pulled up close to his face; he bore a rifle and pointed it at the store clerk; and he had her put cash and possibly other items in a backpack he slammed up onto the counter.
