SALINE CO.—Saline County sources are reporting that there was a car versus motorcycle accident this evening, at the Saline County entrance to Garden of the Gods.
While we don’t have the exact location, a source in Hardin County is advising that the accident occurred on Shawnee Forest Road, which is considered the “Saline County entrance” to GotG.
Another source is advising that the accident occurred at a parking lot entrance to GotG, but wasn’t called in until 5:45 p.m.
Currently (6:30), an ambulance is enroute.
UPDATE: The cyclist has a suspected broken arm, possibly other injuries; being transported to Harrisburg Medical Center.
We’re putting it all together and will try to bring it to you, including the condition of the motorcyclist, as soon as we know.
