FLORA, Ill. - Newly-appointed Flora Police Chief Guye Durre has released his department's activity report for the second week of December, 2018.
Chief Guye Durre releases the following information:
Sunday, December 9 at 9:34 pm, Flora Police arrested Branden O’Connor, 36, of Flora, for Driving While License Revoked and a Clay County warrant for Contempt of Court, following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West North Avenue. O’Connor was taken to Flora Police Department for booking procedures and then transported to Clay County Jail.
Tuesday, December 11 at 11:33 pm, Flora Police arrested Tyler Robinson, 29, of Flora on a Macon County warrant, a Clay County warrant and Possession of Methamphetamine, following a traffic stop on West 8th Street. Robinson underwent booking procedures at Flora Police Department and was transported to Clay County Jail.
Wednesday, December 12 at 11:53 am, Flora Police arrested Steven Huffman, 27, of Flora on a Failure to Appear warrant for Clay County, following an incident in the 100 block of North Locust Street. Huffman was unable to post the necessary cash bond and was transported to Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Thursday, December 13 at 7:26 pm, Flora Police arrested James T. Lewis, 24, of Rinard, for Improper Lane Usage, Resisting Arrest and Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer, following an incident on December 12 at 11:54 pm. Lewis was also arrested on an active Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear. Lewis underwent booking procedures at Flora Police Department where he posted the necessary cash bond and was
released with a Notice to Appear.
Saturday, December 15 at 8:36 pm, Flora Police arrested Galen W. Young, 48, of Flora on a Clay County Warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine, following a traffic stop on West 2nd Street. Young underwent booking at Flora Police Department prior to posting the necessary cash bond and being released.
