Crystal meth bust made in Marion; weapons also found

MARION, Ill. - A major bust was conducted by Marion's Narcotics Unit, and an arrest has been made on charges related to crystal meth as well as weapons found at the location.

Marion PD said that early yesterday (Monday, December 17, 2018) the Marion Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant in the 700 block of E. Reeves Street. 

The search warrant was obtained through a narcotics investigation that identified Justin D. Wolaver, 37, as a distributor of crystal methamphetamine and cannabis.

A search of the residence revealed Wolaver to be in possession of a suspected stolen, semi-automatic firearm, ammunition, crystal methamphetamine, packaging materials, cannabis and drug paraphernalia. 

 Wolaver was issued citations for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Delivery of Methamphetamine (two counts), Aggravated Delivery of Meth - Protected by Firearm, Possession of Cannabis 30-500 grams with the Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Wolaver was conveyed to the Williamson County Jail awaiting his first appearance.
