RICHLAND CO., Ill. - Richland County Clerk Alice Mullinax has announced that the swearing-in ceremony date and time for newly-elected officeholders in the county has been set.
Mullinax said that tomorrow (Friday, November 30), at 4:00 p.m., Judge Larry Dunn will be swearing in any elected or re-elected officials. This will be held in the courtroom on the third floor of the Richland County Courthouse in Olney.
Mullinax said the officials are welcome to bring anyone with them, or to take pictures. She said they may want to bring someone to hold the Holy Bible the Judge uses.
There will be a few refreshments afterwards. This does not usually take a long stretch of time, she noted.
