CLAY CO., Ill. - Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers has submitted his departmental activity report for the last two days of October as well as the early part of November 2018, so let's get to it.
Oct. 30, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested William Butler, 57, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Theft. Butler was also charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond set at $25,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
Oct. 31, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested James A. Pruitt, 35, Flora, for Unlawful Possession of Unassigned Title, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Improper Operation of ATV on Roadway and Driving While Driver's License Suspended. Pruitt appeared in Clay County Court and was released.
Oct. 31, Clay County Sheriff's Deputies arrested John N. Hale, 43, Boonville, Missouri, for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
Oct. 31, David Redman, 56, Olney, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
Nov. 1, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Kenneth Pontious, 35, Edgewood, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $15,000.00 (10 percent). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
Nov. 2, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Crystal Harvel, 43, Flora, on an outstanding Effingham County Contempt warrant. Bond set at $250.00 cash. She was transported to Effingham County Jail.
Nov. 2, Harry Z. Strange, 30, Flora, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver's License Revoked, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and Reckless Driving. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
Nov. 3, Clay County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Caleb Fox, 19, Salem, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. Fox was also charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Driving While Driver's License Suspended. Bond set at $1,500.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
