WHITE CO., Ill. — A Kentucky man has been convicted and sentenced for having sex with a minor female.
Details in the case indicate that Shannon G. Martin, 36, of 79 Little Grapevine Creek Rd., #1, Hazard, Ky., was charged with one count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse after police say on October 9, 2016 he committed an act of sexual penetration with a juvenile, who was at least 13 years of age but under 17 years of age, when he placed his penis in the vagina of the juvenile.
Martin was convicted of the charge on October 29, 2018 and sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for four years and ordered to pay $1,510 in fines and fees, of which he still owes $1,010.
