FLORA, Ill. - Some repeat offenders have resurfaced in a meth bust effected by Flora police along with some assistance by other involved agencies.
Chief John Nicholson reports that on Monday, October 22 at 7 p.m., the Flora Police Department (FPD) and the Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) conducted a joint narcotics operation with the assistance of the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force and the Clay County State's Attorney's Office.
At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, FPD Officers and CCSO Deputies executed two narcotic search warrants simultaneously in Flora at two different locations. The search warrants were obtained after an extensive investigation into the sale, delivery and possession of methamphetamine. The following subjects were arrested as a result of the search warrants and investigation:
Shawn Webb, 30 of Flora ~ Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Obstruction of Justice
Dayne Harrison, 25 of Cisne ~ Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine and three outstanding arrest warrants from various Illinois counties
Justin Schofield, 37 of Flora ~ Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
Brian Louis-Jacques, 40 of Fort Mohave, Ariz. ~ Possession of Methamphetamine
Elijah McKnelly, 24 of Flora ~ Possession of Methamphetamine
