CRAWFORD CO., Ill. - Phil Chalmers, one of the nation's foremost experts on teen violence, teen killers, and mass murderers, presented his school program today at Robinson High School in Crawford County today (Tuesday, October 16).
Chalmers has authored several books on the topic, and has been on various television networks such as Discovery ID, A&E, and the E Network. (We here at Disclosure have covered his presentations and successes, about which you can read at the hotlinks.)
All county 7th and 8th graders attended the 11 a.m. presentation, and all county high school students attended the 1 p.m. presentation. Chalmers' presentation impacts in a way that few do, presented with a little more "edge" than most school assemblies. He also travels the country speaking to law enforcement and school staff.
If your child attended, please discuss this assembly with them. Communication is the fuel that powers the machine.
Chief Jeff Besing would like to thank the Crawford County United Way (Executive Director Mark Hill and Dr. Ryan Gower) in helping sponsor and backing this event, RHS Principal Victoria McDonald and Mrs. Janet Jenkins and kids (in offering their gymnasium to host the event and helping set up the chairs and audio-visual equipment), Robinson Police Officer’s Floyd Brinkman and Bryan Danks, Robinson Police Chief Chad Weaver and Oblong Chief Chad Pusey for helping direct and coordinate the students as well as the Staff and Administrators from all the schools in supporting this event.
