CLAY CO., Ill. - Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers has made available to the public the Activity Report for his department for the month of September, 2018.
The Sheriff’s Office made a total of 10 traffic arrests, 18 criminal arrests and served approximately 39 various civil papers during the month.
A total of 12,238 miles were driven by sheriff’s personnel during September.
Forty individuals were processed through the Clay County Jail. There were 11 inmates in jail at the beginning of the month and 10 in jail at the end of the month. The average daily population at the jail was 11.
Also during September, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a total of $18,066. This includes the following breakdown:
The Sheriff’s Office handled approximately 651 complaints during September, 105 of which originated in Louisville and 107 in Clay City.
And lastly, the Sheriff’s Office conducted 22 criminal investigations and 7 accident investigations.
