MARION, Ill. - Marion police responded to a bad wreck that happened around 11 p.m. last night (Saturday September 29) on South Market road just past Texas Avenue.
One person from each vehicle was taken away in an ambulance.
There’s been no word on the condition of either occupants.
However, one woman who lives in the area said a woman was driving the car and the man who was driving the truck was okay and didn’t want to go to the hospital.
She noted it had been a lot better in that area since several trees had been cut down.
Firefighters from Marion Fire Department were on hand and worked to get the people out of the wreckage.
