PITTSBURG, Ill. - Just before 2 p.m. today a SWAT team along with Williamson County Sheriffs office and Pittsburg police surrounded the home of James G. Marks, 44.
They announced they had an arrest warrant as well as a search warrant. As SWAT was leaving the MRAP showed up but didn’t stop.
Marks, who was not home at time of the incident, is wanted on charges of criminal damage to property. Other charges may soon be filed.
On Monday, Marks' daughter tried to intervene when he was allegedly beating up on her mother; Marks is alleged to have pulled a gun on the 16-year-old daughter and her boyfriend. He then allegedly chased them at speeds of 100 miles per hour and allegedly tried pushing them into a lake.
Photos of the aftermath of that incident have been posted by Lisa Holder:
And here's a vid of the SWAT team "accessing" the house this afternoon by way of the roof:
Marks was last known to be driving a 1990s Chevy Tahoe with dark tinted windows and shiny tail lights. At one time there had been skull sticker on the back but it has since been removed.
A member of the boy's family tells Disclosure they are upset that it has taken five days to get the warrant issued.
