WHITE CO., Ill. - Two men from Harrisburg were involved in a single-vehicle crash in White County earlier today that sent one to an area hospital and left the other with a citation.
Illinois State Police in District 19 Carmi advise that the crash occurred this afternoon (Tuesday, August 28) at 12:45 p.m.
According to preliminary traffic crash investigation by ISP, the driver of a red 2007 Saturn passenger car, Robert F. Sisky, 59, of Harrisburg, was traveling northbound on U.S. 45 when he made an improper lane change at Illinois Route 141, and drove off the roadway into a ditch.
Seth B. Dixon, 35, also of Harrisburg, was transported from the crash scene by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
Deaconess Ambulance Service and Don't Bumper-to-Bumper assisted ISP District 19 at the crash scene.
Sisky was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
