WHITE CO., Ill. - White County State's Attorney Denton Aud has announced the sentencing of a young Carmi guy on a weapons charged.
Aud said that Ricky R. Rush, 28, of Carmi, was sentenced Monday on an Unlawful Possession of Weapon by Felon count, a Class 2 felony.
Rush received in exchange for his plea 7 years in IDOC, to be followed by 2 years parole upon release.
Rush must also pay court costs in the amount of $457, none of which has been paid.
Grayville Police Department was the arresting agency.
