WHITE CO.—
White County authorities tell Disclosure that one Ryan O’Neal, 30, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, was at his girlfriend’s residence when early this morning (4:20 a.m.) it appears he shot himself.
Investigators, including Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators, are at the residence right now. White County Sheriff Doug Maier told Disclosure that an autopsy was scheduled for this afternoon, but all indications are that O’Neal’s death was a suicide.
Maier said there were others in the residence at the time of the shooting, and that there was one other person in the room when O’Neal allegedly took his life.
