SALINE CO., Ill. - The Saline County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a Carrier Mills man early this morning (Wednesday, August 8) near Raleigh.
Acting on tip from the public, that Michael A. Zentz, 35, of Carrier Mills was at a rural residence on Masonic Cemetery Road, Saline County Deputies responded to the location and placed Zentz into custody without incident.
Zentz was wanted for the following Failure To Appear Warrants:
Five (5) Counts of Unlawful Possession of Weapons by a Felon
Three (3) Counts of Aggravated Fleeing or Attempt to Elude a Police Officer
Violation of Probation Methamphetamine Possession
Two (2) Counts of Burglary
Possession of Burglary Tools
Theft Under $500 (Enhanced Sentence)
Criminal Damage to Property Over $500
Driving While Driver’s License is Revoked
Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition by a Felon
Zentz was also wanted for two Failure to Appear Warrants from Williamson County as well.
Zentz is currently in the Saline County Detention Center.
