WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Ever wonder what certain dope looks like? Even if we live in the land of meth-central, many of us have never seen meth, cocaine, heroin and many other illicit substances except in a K9 training demonstration or in photos.

Well, Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick is going to rectify that situation, and in a safe environment, too.

Vick has announced that the Sheriff’s Office, located in Marion, is hosting a Drug Identification class for residents. This class will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the
Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

This class will cover basic drug identification, including different types of meth labs. The class will also cover current drug trends including prescription drugs and heroin.

No pre-registration is necessary.
