FRANKLIN CO., Ill. - Franklin County authorities are asking folks to be on the lookout this evening for three 17-year-olds who escaped custody of the juvenile detention center located in Benton.
The juveniles got away from the facility, located at 411 East Main in Benton, at about 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, Wednesday, July 11.
The three white male 17-year-olds are described as the following:
Suspect No. 1: five-foot-six, 115 pounds, brown hair/brown eyes
Suspect No. 2: five-foot-nine, 163 pounds, brown hair/blue eyes
Suspect No. 3: five-foot-three, 103 pounds, brown hair/blue eyes, with a start tattoo near his eye
All three were apparently wearing detention outfits of navy blue pants and gray shirts.
The three were last observed on Highland Street in Benton moving in a southeasterly direction.
