CARMI, Ill. - Two arrests were all there were to report for Carmi Police Department activity, as submitted by Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter.
The first came about last night (Wednesday, May 30) at 9:07 p.m., when authorities were apparently called to the American Legion in Carmi to respond to an alleged OP Violation.
Arrested was James Harrison Tyner, 30, of Enfield, who was evidently in the presence of a protected person while at the club.
He was toted off to the city/county jail, where he was held without bond despite the situation being a misdemeanor.
Another arrest was made earlier in the day (2:58 p.m.), when apparently a Grayville woman was taken into custody at the probation office in Carmi.
Tammy J. Yokel, 49, is the gal in question. Documents show she was taken into custody on a warrant for Retail Theft.
She was able to post bond to secure her release.
