Friday, May 18 at 12:45 am, Dakota Atkisson, 26, of Clay City was issued a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle, following a traffic stop on US Hwy 45/50.
Friday, May 18 at 1:19 am, Flora Police arrested Valerie Childers, 31, of Louisville for Driving While License Suspended, following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West North Avenue. Childers was taken to Flora Police Department for booking procedures and released with a Notice to Appear.
Friday, May 18 at 6:16 pm, Flora Police arrested Buffie Davidson, 51, of Clay City on a Clay County Failure to Appear Warrant. Davidson was released to Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday, May 19 at 8:51 pm, Flora Police arrested Holly Artis, 33, of Flora for Driving While License Revoked, following a traffic stop on Shadwell. Artis was transported to Flora Police Department for booking procedures and released with a Notice to Appear.
Sunday, May 20 at 11:26 am, Flora Police issued a Local Ordinance Citation to a 17-year-old male of Flora for Excessive Acceleration of Motor Vehicle, following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East North Avenue.
Sunday, May 20 at 11:45 am, Tyler West, 23, of Flora was issued a citation for Illegal Operation of All-Terrain Vehicle and a Local Ordinance Citation for Disturbing the Peace, following an incident on South State Street.

Sunday, May 20 at 4:15 pm, Flora Police arrested Darrell Newman, 28, of Fairfield for Driving While License Revoked and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, following a traffic stop in the 800 block of South State Street. Newman underwent booking procedures at Flora Police Department and was released with a Notice to Appear. (Admin note: Newman, it appears, is out on parole, so this might send him back to IDOC; you can read about Newman's ongoing life failures at the links provided here.)
Sunday, May 20 at 6:53 pm, Bridget Spencer, 38, of Flora was issued Citations for No Valid Driver's License and Operation of Uninsured Vehicle, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Worthey Street.
Sunday, May 20 at 8:22 pm, Jeffrey Cox, 27, of Arkansas and Alyssa Walden, 19, of Flora were both issued Local Ordinance Citations for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, following an incident in the 1400 block of North Worthey Street.
Monday, May 21 at 12:16 pm, Flora Police arrested Donald Lewis, 63, of Clay City for Theft, following an incident in the 1100 block of Vincennes Avenue. Lewis underwent booking at Flora Police Department and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Monday, May 21 at 11:18 pm, Christopher Spangle, 26, of Olney was issued a Citation for No Valid Driver's License, following a traffic stop in the 500 block of West 2 nd Street.
Friday, May 25 at 5:34 pm, Flora Police arrested Tasha Enriquez, 22, of Clay City for Driving While License Suspended, following a traffic stop on Vincennes Avenue. Enriquez underwent booking at Flora Police Department and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Friday, May 25 at 6:22 pm, Richard Walker, 60, of Salem was issued a Citation for Improper Overtaking on Right, following a traffic stop on US Hwy 50.
Friday, May 25 at 9:00 pm, Josh Artis, 40, of Flora was issued Local Ordinance Citations for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Cannabis, following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West North Avenue.
Friday, May 25 at 9:48 pm, Flora Police arrested Brian Louis-Jacques, 39, of Flora on two Clay County Warrants for Failure to Appear on traffic violations. Louis-Jacques was unable to post the necessary cash bond and was transported to Clay County Jail.
Saturday, May 26 at 12:54 am, Albert Harper, 35, of Flora was issued a Citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle, following a traffic stop in the 300 block of East 2nd Street.
Saturday, May 26 at 12:56 pm, Flora Police arrested Alejandro Alvarez, 20, of Bloomington on a Mclean County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Alvarez was transferred to the Custody of Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday, May 26 at 10:02 pm, Flora Police arrested Darren Davis, 48, of Flora for Violation of Bond Conditions, following an incident in the 800 block of East North Avenue. Davis underwent booking procedures at Flora Police Department then transported to Clay County Jail.
Saturday, May 26 at 9:44 pm, Flora Police arrested Casie Williams, 31, of Flora for Driving While License Suspended and on a Clay County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Williams was transported to Flora Police Department for booking procedures. She was unable to post the necessary bond and was transferred to Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
